About the Foundation
Founded in 1970, this Maine organization was established to provide scholarships to the youth of Maine based on demonstrated need and ability.
In addition, it also now assists Maine DeMolay's Executive Officer with program expenses for the Order of DeMolay's Maine Chapters and also provides scholarship assistance for DeMolays attending DeMolay Leadership Camp.
The Foundation is a non-profit organization under Maine and federal tax laws. The Trustees are chosen from among the elected membership of the Foundation. Membership includes all heads of the various Masonic bodies in Maine including the Grand Master, Deputy Grand Master, Potentates from both of the Shrine Temples in Maine, and the heads of the Scottish Rite and York Rite Bodies along with Masonic and DeMolay Adult Leadership. Membership is unlimited in number and the Foundation meets three times annually. Since its founding, almost a half-million dollars has been given in scholarships benefiting students from both public and private high schools all over the State of Maine. This work is funded by endowments which have increased throughout the years thanks to the generous contributions from Maine Masons and their friends and families.
If you're a student graduating from a Maine high school, you're eligible to apply for a scholarship. Thanks for your interest in the DeMolay and Pine Tree Youth Foundation. Should it be necessary, the Chairman of the Scholarship Committee can be reached by e-mailing the webmaster AT pinetreeyouth.org

Please note that this is the OFFICIAL site for the DeMolay & Pine Tree Youth Foundation of Maine. Information you receive from some 'pay-for-information' scholarship services may be incorrect and could lead you to dead-ends or phone calls to places who will not understand the nature of your call. Regrettably we cannot control the errors of others.... It is also important to note that there are many scholarships offered by Masonic-related organizations and not every Mason is aware of them all.
